I recently visited Sookdal and had a pretty satisfying experience overall. We decided to go with the Combo C set, and while the portion sizes were on the smaller side, the quality of the food made up for it. The meat was grilled to perfection--juicy and flavorful with that nice char that adds so much depth to the taste. It was clear they know how to handle their grill. The sides that came with the combo were great, complementing the meat nicely and adding variety to the meal. However, I was a bit surprised to find that rice isn't included and has to be ordered separately. It's a minor inconvenience, but worth noting if you're planning to eat here. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. While the portion size could have been a bit more generous, especially for the price, the quality of the food and the grilling technique definitely stand out. I'd recommend Sookdal if you're looking for well-grilled meat cooked for you and great sides.

So good! I hardly indulge in fatty meats but this place made it all worth it. We ordered Combo C for 4 people + a cold noodle soup & it was the perfect amount for us (satisfied but not stuffed & feeling gross). Combo C came with 4 types of meat & honestly each one was pretty amazing. It also came with tons of sides, salad, and soup. Our favorite meats were probably the pork belly & pork jowl - paired with their garlic oil, a bit of bean paste, and some pickled sides. You really can't go wrong. We arrived at ~5:30pm on a Saturday & the restaurant was just starting to fill up. Side note: they do not take reservations so make sure you come early to avoid a wait!

We ordered 1 Combo C and an additional serving of aged pork which cost us ~$138 with tax included for 4 people so I would say that it is not too expensive as the fat fill your stomach quite fast. Customer service is good, waiting time is not too bad compared to other Korean BBQ restaurants (waited ~30 minutes). I LOVE their onion salad! The sauce is just so good that I think this restaurant has the best one. The kimchi tofu soup is good too, just that it has too much oil/fat on top, otherwise, the taste is perfect. The side dishes are good too. Pork jowl is really good, I think I like it the most among all the meat that come from Combo C. The parking lot might be a big problem if you come during peak time Anyway, definitely recommend this place!
